Tommy

Every investigation needs someone who keeps a watchful eye, makes sure the equipment is ready and isn't afraid to question what others might immediately believe. For Time Travel Encounters, that's Tommy — better known as Skunk.

The practical side of the unexplained

As Head of Security, Equipment & Evidence Review, Tommy plays an important role in the practical side of the team's investigations. He takes responsibility for equipment handling, helps ensure the team is prepared when entering unfamiliar locations and brings a grounded approach to reviewing potential paranormal activity.

A key part of his role is debunking. Not every unexplained sound is a spirit, not every shadow is an apparition and not every unusual recording has a paranormal explanation. Tommy believes that evidence should be questioned, examined and understood before conclusions are drawn. Sometimes, finding an ordinary explanation is just as important as discovering something unusual.

Away from the paranormal

Outside of investigations, Tommy is a keen sports enthusiast, with football taking the top spot. He's also passionate about carp fishing, enjoying the patience, concentration and time outdoors that come with it.

When it comes to food, he's happiest with a good steak or an Indian curry. His favourite film is The First Purge, and his music choice is Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears.

With a favourite destination of the London Eye and a particular fondness for winter, Tommy brings his own personality and perspective to the TTE team.

Whether he's checking equipment, keeping an eye on security or questioning something caught during an investigation, Skunk is there to make sure the team doesn't jump to conclusions.
