About / File 000

Who we are, and why we look

Time Travel Encounters began in 2017 with one unexplained night and a refusal to accept easy answers in either direction.

Keep the mystery.
Earn the trust.

We're a small team of investigators with backgrounds in sound engineering, safety, interviewing and local history. We investigate homes, churches, institutions and historic sites across the UK.

We don't promise ghosts. Most reports have an ordinary explanation, and finding it can bring people real peace. Some don't — and those we document carefully, without exaggeration.

Method, safety & ethics

01

Be transparent

We explain what we do, what equipment we use and what an investigation can and cannot establish.

02

Label sources

Every item is marked: team investigation, witness account, historical source, folklore or unverified submission.

03

Protect people

We ask permission before publishing names, faces, addresses or recordings, and never identify vulnerable witnesses.

04

Respect locations

We never publish access instructions to unsafe or private properties. We respect owners, residents and the law.

05

Explain first

Ordinary causes — pipes, wind, light, wildlife — are tested before anything else is considered.

06

Stay safe

Risk assessment on every site. Nobody works alone. Nothing is damaged.
